Figma is stepping up its game in the creative technology space with the introduction of new features designed to streamline website and web application development. Their latest offering, Figma Sites, enables designers to move from mockups to live websites, leveraging artificial intelligence to simplify publishing and content management, while allowing custom edits and collaborative workflows from within the editor.

Teams can add engaging transitions, responsive layouts, and interactive effects, all supported by integrated content management tools for easy post and asset handling. Users, whether working with marketers or developers, enjoy flexibility: adding custom code, generating blog content, or working with AI powered web design for interactive widgets.

Figma Expands Collaborative Tools

A separate tool, Figma Make, is geared towards rapid ideation and prototyping, where users can prompt AI to build a functional web application and then fine-tune both design and code collaboratively. Interactive elements created here can later be embedded into Figma Sites, giving non-technical users the ability to produce dynamic projects, while developers maintain full control over final adjustments.

The product suite now extends to marketers as well, through Figma Buzz. This feature streamlines bulk asset creation using brand templates, spreadsheet data, and AI-generated imagery, making it easier to manage campaigns at scale.

Illustrators and designers benefit from Figma Draw, which introduces new vector editing capabilities previously only possible outside Figma. With advanced tools like texture brushes, lasso selections, and text manipulation, the platform now provides a robust illustration environment directly in-app.

Figma also continues its challenge to established creative giants like Canva and Adobe by launching tools for presentations and bulk creative production. The company clarifies that its focus remains on digital product development, supported by new pricing options that unlock expanded CMS, content, and collaboration features for users and teams.
