Sex appeal has found an uncanny companion in the digital world, fueled by the rapid rise of artificial intelligence.
A United States startup called OhChat has blended the buzz of celebrity allure with cutting edge tech, crafting uncanny AI-powered versions of famous figures from the world of adult entertainment.
Now, these digital replicas operate around the clock. They never sleep or log off, offering something that goes beyond likes or subscriptions. Imagine an artificial persona that claims to remember previous conversations, stokes your desires, and always has something a little daring to say.
Celebrity Avatars Rewrite the Rules
Nic Young, the CEO of OhChat, described his brainchild as something between a risqué social platform and a breakthrough in AI entertainment. Speaking with CNN, Young explained, “OhChat is an incredibly powerful tool, and tools can be used however the human behind it wants to be used.” He added, “We could use this in a really scary way, but we’re using it in a really, I think, good, exciting way.”
What sets OhChat apart is its use of advanced AI models to create digital twins of creators, not just still images or pre-recorded videos. Users can chat with the avatars and request voice messages or images, just like texting a celebrity. The company invites creators to submit photos and engage in a short interview with a bot. Within hours, a lifelike digital double is ready for action.
OhChat offers several subscription packages. For a monthly fee, users get unlimited messaging, access to steamy voice notes, and even the chance for a VIP experience that promises non-stop attention from an AI celebrity. The company’s template is clear: pay up, and the avatar is always there, ready to flirt or even sext at any moment.
Creators get the bulk of this new income stream, taking home eighty percent of the revenue their avatar generates. In the words of Young, “You have literally unlimited passive income without having to do anything again.”
Since its launch in October 2024, OhChat has already attracted big names including “Baywatch” icon Carmen Electra and UK celebrity Katie Price. Some creators are pulling in thousands each month. The avatars don’t stray into the deepest end of explicit content unless the real person behind the character chooses. Interactions fall on a scale, with every creator deciding what their AI double will actually do.
Katie Price’s digital persona sits at “level two.” This means users can bicker or banter with the avatar, request topless images, and indulge in sexualized chat, but outright nudity and graphic acts stay off-limits.
With the line between human presence and artificial attention blurring, OhChat’s model signals not just a profitable new twist for digital intimacy, but a full throttle collision of celebrity culture and technology shaping online AI avatars.
